Join us for a summer night like no other, as we reimagine the sounds and feelings of a Maltese summer — the distant hum of village feasts, the sound of the sea, the scorching mid-day heat and the soft, light breeze.
This one-of-a-kind evening brings together voices across generations — an interweaving of some of Malta’s most powerful writers and artists. Rising talents, poet Gabriel Lia and multidisciplinary artist fatima a.m., will be joined by acclaimed poet and academic Prof. Immanuel Mifsud in a unique collaborative performance created exclusively for this year’s Rooftop Series Summer Festival.
Accordionist Mro. Albert Garzia will weave his melodies through the rhythms of prose and poetry, while singer-songwriter Sean Borg will join forces with the stirring voice of Adel Montanaro in musical interludes with original songs in Maltese.
A cashless food and drinks area will be operating pre and post-show.
A fresh cocktail menu and drinks will be available courtesy of Islands8, along with a delicious focaccia bar hosted by Baked.
Rooftop Series is presented and co-produced by ADfC and Artistic Director Annalisa Schembri.
