We’ll kick off with quick and insightful updates from our esteemed GLEN members, setting the stage for a deeper dive into Malta’s cultural heart. Following this, we welcome Daniel Azzopardi, the Artistic Director of Spazju Kreattiv, to provide a comprehensive overview of the local cultural landscape, highlighting key festivals and exploring the dynamic and crucial interplay between the public and private sectors in nurturing the arts.

Next, we turn our spotlight to the invaluable work of the Opening Doors Association, a vital partner dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual disabilities through the arts. We’ll delve into their inspiring mission and significant impact on the community. Joining us from Opening Doors, we’ll have Artistic Director, Rachel Calleja, who will share her insights into the association’s initiatives and achievements. Furthermore, we will hear directly from Angela Bettoni, a member of Opening Doors, who will offer a personal and powerful perspective on the impact of artistic engagement in her life.

Adding another layer of excitement, Zofia Stelmaszczyk will provide an update on her latest exciting projects. Throughout the sessions, we’ll have room for questions and discussions, providing you with a unique opportunity to connect directly with our speakers and delve deeper into the topics discussed.
