Vallejo Garden Club, a committee of the Vallejo Architectural Heritage Foundation (VAHF), invites members and prospective members to a Fall Garden Clean Up Day and Seed Swap. This will be held at Heritage House, 419 Farragut Avenue, which is the home of VAHF.
- Please bring any left over seeds you'd like to share; please label them; and see what others bring that you might like to take home. We will have small envelopes for you to use (or you may bring your own) and to label.
- Help us make seed envelopes. We will take left over seeds, put them in envelopes, and donate them to the JFK library's seed share drawers.
- Bring a pair of garden gloves, help us move a few small rocks or pull a W**d or two. Or a pruner to do some trimming. Or bring a shovel to help dig a hole or two to help us install some new plants. Or a rake to rake up some leaves.
- Also, if you have any spare garden tools that are clean and in working order, or other clean ready to use garden items to share (e.g., harvest items, extra plants), please bring those too. We will have a give away table. Anything left over from the event will either be used at Heritage House or donated to a local tool library or other nonprofit that can use the items.
