• Mike Talman – Smooth-talking grifter with a conscience, 30s–60s
• Carlino – Roat’s partner, street-smart, 30s–60s
• Gloria – Susan’s curious young neighbor, pre-teen/teen
• Additional roles as needed for wartime setting
