Search for the Common Mergansers with babies in the Watauga River
This week's Valle Crucis Community Park Wednesday Bird Walk will have a special twist. We will still meet at the park at 9am, as usual, and will then drive ten minutes to search for the recently seen Common Mergansers (with babies).

If you look closely, you will see a mother Wood duck with babies in the background of this photo! Thanks to Steve Dolan for his painstaking search to find the Mergansers and providing such an amazing photo.
