Welcome to the new budget league at Tapped Out Gaming, this time around we're colliding the worlds onto an epic battlefield!!!
Rules for deck building
-Your Commander MUST be a Universe Beyond ORIGINAL card which means you can't use a card like Zidane Tribal from Final Fantasy because its a reskin of Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer or Iron Spider, Civil Warrior which is Alibou, Ancient Witness.
Your Commander can also be PROXIED and WONT count towards your overall budget, if you are proxing the card, please use the same art and at least print out a color version of it so its easy to read. Basic lands also do NOT count towards your budget, unless they are snow-basics.
-Total budget $100
Everyone needs to use moxfield.com to build their decks, on the bottom left you should see a "change pricing settings" change it so TCGPlayer is the first site it uses for pricing.
-Following normal Commander rules/ban list, no bracket or power level restrictions
-Schedule. 3 Days a week we will be getting together for league nights starting Wednesday Feb 25th, then will be Tuesdays-Thursdays 4:30pm-Close. There will be limits to the amount of points you can get per day.
-Points. To determine how many points you will get, count the number of players (for example a 4 player pod), 4 players, minus 1 from the total of players which is 3, first place in that pod will get 3 points, then each place after that will get one less one point. 2nd place gets 2 points, 3rd place gets 1, and 4th place gets 0.
The bigger the pod, the more points available. IMPORTANT, each day you CAN NOT repeat a match with the same players until a new day has begun, so there needs to be at least one player difference from each pod to qualify for points. In short the same 4 player pod can not spam matches all night to prevent possible colluding.
-The points you accumulate can be used for our future prize wall, which means whether you have a little or a lot, we will have options for everyone.
