Once a refuge for pirates and later fortified by order of King Charles III, Tabarca boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times.

Today, it’s a peaceful destination known for its crystal-clear waters, colorful marine life, and protected marine reserve—the Tabarca Marine Reserve, the first of its kind in Spain.
