We’re back with another open mic at Book Lovers Valencia! Get ready for a night of storytelling, community, and connection, where you can rub elbows with fellow writers and book-lovers.
We’re inviting writers of all genres — poetry, prose, and nonfiction — to come take the stage and share their work.
Whether you’ve got a short story you’ve been refining, a new chapter of the book you’ve been working on, a heart-breaking yet hilarious personal essay, or a spoken word poem that’s dying to be heard, our warm and supportive audience wants to hear it.
Not quite ready for the mic or just want to come for a listen? Come grab a (free) drink and cheer on the local literary talent!
🔸 Want to read your work? Send us a direct message to sign up in advance—spaces fill quickly! Please arrive early to sign up and confirm your spot in the queue.
(You can sign up in person, but we’d really love to know you’re coming ahead of time.)
⏰ Aim to arrive at 7:00 PM to get settled (seating is limited!). Readings begin promptly at 7:30 PM.
🍷 There will be a 10-minute intermission halfway through, perfect for schmoozing or ingesting some liquid courage. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
💫 At the end, the audience will vote on their favourite piece and the winner will win a little prize.
