You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. (John 8)
Truth is powerful but it must be fully engaged to leverage ALL it carries: We must KNOW it.
That is not intellectual assent but knowing and embracing as 'Adam knew Eve.'
So, just how much of the truth do we fully engage about ourselves? How much are we deluded or in denial?
It is said, 'He loves you just the way you are and far too much to leave you that way.' Whew! Good thing.
Yet many bump blindly along the path and simply hope for the best - finding intermittent moments of breakthrough followed by a back slide and the unending nightmare of spiritual undulation.
But it need not be that way: There is a process in the mechanics of freedom - a way to walk into more.
And core to that are the pragmatics of repentance: the component parts, assembled and operative together, that work to attack and destroy the links of the chain holding one back.
