Just a short drive from Nice, we’re here in the stunning **Gordolasque Valley**, nestled deep in the heart of the **Vésubie region**, right inside the **Mercantour National Park**.
Yes, you're technically still in the Côte d’Azur... but with chamois instead of cappuccinos.
This glacial valley is the perfect outdoor classroom. Your mountain guide (part sherpa, part geologist, part walking encyclopedia) will unveil the secrets of alpine geology: U-shaped valleys, glacial moraines, giant boulders (aka erratic blocks), and other icy relics from the last Ice Age. ❄️
And it’s not just about the rocks:
* 🦌 You might spot a **chamois** or **ibex** dancing across the cliffs,
* 🐿️ **Marmots** whistling from the grass,
* 🐾 Maybe even a rare glimpse of an **ermine** if you’re lucky!
* 🌸 In early summer, alpine flowers bloom in full force—tough little beauties that survive wind, snow, and Instagrammers.
