The Vail Habitat

Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife District Wildlife Manager Devin Duval for an insightful discussion on the challenges facing Eagle County’s wildlife. Drawing from his extensive fieldwork, Duval will delve into the nuances of habitat and discuss the impacts of habitat loss, recreation, and climate pressures on species such as elk, deer and bighorn sheep. Learn how human activity affects wildlife behavior, survival, and habitat, and discover practical steps we can take to help preserve the ecological balance in our mountain communities.
