About Captain Fatty's:

Born from curiosity, brewed with passion
What started as a hobby quickly turned into a small business. In 2013, our founder Preston Angell made a bold decision to forgo medical school and take a leap into the craft beer world. By November 2014, Captain Fatty’s opened its doors—and we’ve been brewing ever since.

From our very first batches, we've been driven by a simple mission: to craft exceptional beer using the best ingredients and a relentless passion for the process. Today, that mission lives on through the creativity and skill of our epic brewing team, who continue to push boundaries and keep the taps flowing with fresh, flavorful beer that reflects the spirit of the Central Coast.
