Ecstatic Dance Vaasa invites you to experience a journey of embodied freedom—where every step, sway, and stillness is welcome. Guided by a vibrant arc of global rhythms, organic-electronic beats, and ancestral sounds, you’re invited to move as you are, free from judgment, words, or expectation.
What to expect:
🦋 Gentle arrival: Doors open 30 minutes before—settle in, breathe, and
connect with the space.
🦋 Opening circle: Set intentions, receive guidance, and ground in community.
🦋 The dance journey: 1.5 hours of music designed to move you from
grounding to ecstatic release, then into gentle integration.
🦋 Closing circle: Land together, integrating with mindfulness and optional
reflection.
Our Venue:
Located in the heart of Vaasa, our spacious 165 m² dance floor—with its hard wooden surface—welcomes free movement and connection. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with plenty of parking and easy access for all. Bathed in
natural daylight from a dozen windows, the space transforms into a cocoon of
darkness with thick acoustic curtains and smart lighting for every mood. Enjoy a
club-level sound system, wardrobe and lavatory access, and a kitchen for cacao or light snacks. There’s room for up to 150 standing guests, cozy nooks for rest or reflection, and a big projection screen for immersive visuals. From time to time, we may feature live music or special culinary experiences—so stay tuned for future events that bring even more sensory delight.
