Maura Mapes is an Oshawa based singer/songwriter. Drawing from life’s experiences, her melodies and lyrics paint pictures of past regret, love and loss, growing old and growing into oneself. Influenced by artists like Brandi Carlile, Maggie Rogers, the Indigo Girls and the Lumineers, her stripped-down takes on her favourite songs also round out her performance.
