Counter's Creek + Malcolm MacWatt

We start the new year with COUNTER'S CREEK- an acoustic folk band based in London. They are a group of outstanding musicians who all also play in other genres. Their tunes come from all over. You’ll have your feet tapping to Celtic and English jigs and reels with Irish low whistles and flutes alongside traditional English folk songs.

Support comes from Malcolm MacWatt, a Scottish songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Highlands who now lives in London. Growing up with Celtic music but also a fan of Americana, his songs tell stories in a style he sometimes calls Transatlanticana.
