4th of July Picnic/Potluck

Americans in Utrecht will host an Independence Day picnic/BBQ on Saturday, July 5th. You are all cordially invited!

The event will take place from 13:30 - 16:30 in the Griftpark, which is an easy walk from Utrecht Centraal.

Please bring some American food to share or some veggies/meat to grill (we’ll have aluminum foil to separate meat from vegetarian items). Drinks are BYOB (if you don’t want to carry them a long distance, you can purchase them at the Albert Heijn next to the park).

We’ll also bring some fun outdoor games to play.

What if it rains? Watch Facebook on the days leading up to the event. We may book a backup location if the weather is calling for rain. Or we might just shift the start/end times a bit.

How do I get to the Griftpark from Utrecht Centraal? You can walk for approximately 20 minutes, borrow an OV Fiets, or take the number 4 or number 55 bus.

Can I set off fireworks? No.

Is BBQ/grilling allowed? Yes! We will bring a small portable grill. More grills are welcome.
