Am 24. Juli kehrt Erich II., Herzog von Braunschweig und Lüneburg, für einen Tag ins sein Schloss Freudenthal zurück, genau wie im Jahr 1560, als er es nach aufwändigen Bauten mit großem Pomp einweihte.
