Rain Barrel Workshop

Polk County Water Resources Outreach Coordinator Cassie Druhl will share information about water quality in Iowa and how incorporating barrels on your property can help reduce flooding and stormwater pollution. A rain barrel is a method of capturing rain water for later use on your property. In this program, learn how to save money by making your own rain barrel using basic tools.There will be a live demonstration, and the demo barrel will be raffled off at the end!

The Rain Campaign implements Rainscaping practices in Central Iowa by empowering people to connect with local resources, including funding assistance programs.
