Plant-Based Des Moines Holiday Cookbook Exchange!

For our cookbook exchange, bring one of your favorite new or gently used whole food plant-based cookbooks - or bring one that looks interesting! If the cookbook uses oil, you can bring it as long as the recipes are modifiable, for example, if oil is primarily used for sautéing.

Half-Priced Books is a great place to find gently used plant-based cookbooks if you do not have one in your possession to gift.

We will do a white elephant style gathering, which should be a lot of fun!

If you are able, please bring a whole food plant-based snack to share! Please bring a non-alcoholic drink; otherwise, the library has a vending machine with drink options and a water refill station for water bottles.

Regardless of what holiday you celebrate, if any, December is a great time of year to get together for food and fellowship! We hope to see you there!
