Every year, we are able to divert tons of reusable, quality stuff from the landfill because of YOU. Volunteer, donate, and shop at the Y's Dump & Run®, a community recycling program and one of the largest garage sales in C-U!
AUGUST 2025 COLLECTION DAYS:
Drop off all accepted donations at the U of I Stock Pavilion at 1402 W. Pennsylvania Ave, Urbana, IL 61801
Enter through the South Entrance along Pennsylvania Ave.
Drop Off Collection Dates & Time:
August 4th: Noon - 4pm
August 5th - 8th: 9am - 4pm
August 11th - 15th: 9am - 4pm
*Late drop off on Wednesday, August 13th until 7pm
*Weekend drop off on Saturdays, August 9 and 16 from 9am - 1pm
WHAT CAN I DONATE?
Furniture, dishes, glassware, pots & pans, mini-fridges, small household appliances, working computers and electronics, bicycles, office & school supplies, nearly-new clothing, books, toiletries, lawn & garden, artwork, vinyl & cds, musical instruments, sporting equipment & other household goods.
WHAT DON'T WE COLLECT?
Non-flat screen televisions, paint, child/infant car seats, cribs, helmets, full-size fridges, stoves, washers, dryers and other large appliances, non-working electronics & computer parts, sleeper sofas, mattresses, foam mattress pads, large entertainment centers, Christmas or holiday decorations, badly ripped, stained, or soiled furniture, or large exercise equipment.
The University YMCA reserves the right to refuse any donation offered, based on but not limited to its size, weight, and condition.
