Feeling overwhelmed, alone, or stressed? You are not alone. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed and stressed when you are a caregiver. We want to help! Having a shoulder to lean on can make the biggest difference. Join us at the Caregiver Circle, offering support to those who are caregivers to someone living with dementia.
Meetings are open to the public and held on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 5p-6p in the third-floor activity room of the MeadowLark Assisted Living and Memory Care building, 2760 S. Race Street, on the Clark Lindsey campus.
Each month, you can expect an educational topic related to caring for someone who lives with dementia, an opportunity to share your own experiences, and support from the caregiving circle.
Educational topics may include: communication challenges, sundowning and behaviors, bathing/showering tips, navigating family gatherings, wandering, safety in the home, caregiver stress, sleep disturbances, and others.
We do ask that you register in advance. Attendance will be limited to 20 people per session. Register at: clarklindsey.com/caregiver-circle/
We look forward to hearing your story and offering support.
