TDB-mottagningen söker Huvudfaddrar, Faddrar & Volontärer

Vill du vara med och bidra till att reccarna ska få den bästa starten under sin första tid på universitetet? Då har du hittat helt rätt! Just nu söker Teknolog-, datavetar- och basmottagningen huvudfaddrar, faddrar och volontärer. Huvudfadder och vollissöket har redan öppnat så det finns ingen tid att förlora!.

Som Huvudfadder är du en ovärderlig del av reccens första tid på universitetet. Du kommer finnas där för att vara en trygg och säker punkt för reccen samtidigt som du visar dem hur livet som student är här i Uppsala. Under mottagningens två veckor kommer du vara ansvarig för att vägleda reccarna samt organisera och koordinera faddrar för de program du är huvudfadder för.

Som fadder är du också en ovärderlig del av reccens första tid på universitetet. Du kommer också finnas där för att vara en trygg och säker punkt för reccen samt vägleda reccarna och visa dem hur livet som student är här i Uppsala.

Är du sugen på att testa stå i bar, laga mat eller hjälpa till under olika aktiviteter? Sök volontär! Som volontär kan man testa på många arbetsuppgifter vid ett eller flera tillfällen. Volontärerna hjälper till under de många event som äger rum under mottagningen, utan er fina volontärer hade mottagningen inte varit möjlig!

Du behöver ingen tidigare erfarenhet för att söka någon av posterna, det enda som krävs är att du är peppad på att delta! Alla poster är ett superbra första engagemang!

Huvudfadderutbildningen och fadderutbildning 1 är måndag 5 maj och fadderutbildning 2 är söndag 24 augusti. Utbildningarna är obligatoriska och för att du ska få vara fadder krävs det att du går på båda fadderutbildningarna och för huvudfadder är det obligatoriskt att även gå på huvudfadderutbildningen, så skriv in datumen i kalendern redan nu! Volontärutbildningen kommer också vara den 24e augusti, men INTE samtidigt som fadderutbildningen. Det går alltså fint att söka både fadder och volontär!

Om du skulle bli sjuk kring utbildningen eller vet redan nu att du inte kan komma, maila oss! OBS! Utbildningarna kommer ges på plats på Ångströms, inget digitalt alternativ kommer att finnas.

Are you interested in taking part in welcoming the new students during their first time at University? Then the Engineering and Computer Science Reception for new students is the place for you! Luckily, the applications for buddies and volunteers are now open!

As a first buddy you are a priceless part of the new students’ first time at University. You’ll be there as a safe and secure point for new students at the same time as you show them what life as a student in Uppsala is all about. During the two weeks of reception, you will be responsible for guiding the new students, organizing and coordinating buddies for the programs for which you are the first buddy.

Are you excited about working behind a bar, cooking or helping out during activities? Apply to be a volunteer! As a volunteer you’re able to try many different tasks during the reception weeks. The volunteers help out during activities during the student reception, and without them the student reception wouldn’t be possible.

No previous experience is needed to apply for any of the roles, all you need is to be excited about participating! All eligible roles are a great first student involvement!

The first buddy education course and the buddy education course no.1 will be held on Monday May 5th and the buddy education courses no.2 will be held Sunday August 24th. The education courses are mandatory and in order for you to be a first buddy you need to attend all of them, so note the dates in your calendar straight away! The volunteer education will also be on the 24th of August, but NOT at the same time as the buddy education. It’s therefore possible to apply for both buddy and volunteer!

If you were to become ill around the time of the education course or if you already know that you’re not able to attend, email us! OBS! The education courses will be held in Swedish and this year the education courses will be in person and there’ll be no Zoom alternative available.
