Det bästa sättet att få igenom önskad förändring eller säkerställande av sektionens utveckling är genom att skriva motioner. Enligt SSTSS stadgar är motionsdeadline en vecka innan mötet, maila motionerna till

Söka poster:
Vill du vara med och påverka ännu mer? Eller vet du någon annan som skulle göra det bra? Vi söker nu personer till utlysta poster där man kan vara med och engagera sig i sektionen för att påverka verksamheten och dess utveckling.
Ansökan skickas in via ansökningsformulär som publiceras i ett facebookevenemang för postsök, som kommer ut nästa vecka. Där kan man även läsa mer om posterna.

Valberedningen utför en nomineringsprocess utifrån inkomna ansökningar. På mötet finns också möjligheten att ställa sig upp och kandidera för en post även om en nominering till posten i fråga kan väga tungt vid flera kandiderande. Posterna tillsätts av sektionens medlemmar på mötet.

Spring is here, and that means it’s time for the first big meeting of the year – the Spring Meeting on May 12th! And you’re invited!
Exciting things will be happening at the Spring Meeting:
An activity summary from the previous board
Elections for trust positions
Motions, where you as students can influence the direction of the section
Propositions, where the board seeks your help in making important decisions

Motions:
The best way to create change or contribute to the development of the section is by writing a motion. According to SSTSS's statutes, the deadline for motions is one week before the meeting. Please email your motions to
c3RzLW9yZGYgfCB1dG4gISBzZQ== no later than May 5th at 23:59.
Apply for a position:
Want to make an even bigger impact? Or know someone who would do a great job? We are now looking for candidates to fill several open positions where you can help shape the section’s work and future.
Applications will be submitted via a form published in a Facebook event for the election process, which will go live next week. More information about the positions will be available there.

2 Members of the STS Nomination Committee (one as chair)
4 SM Generals
The Nomination Committee will review applications and nominate candidates for each role. However, you’ll also have the chance to run for a position directly during the meeting – even if a nomination can carry weight in the case of multiple candidates. All positions are elected by the section’s members at the meeting.
