Vi inleder höstterminen med att peppa inför Uppsala Pride som infaller 20:e september. Vi planerar bland annat att ordna ett bord under träffen där folk kan göra plakat och banderoller till paraden. Vi tänkte också fixa klart vårt konst/hantverksprojekt “The comfort blanket project/Tröstfilt projektet” så att den går att ställa ut under Pride. OBSERVERA att du är jättevälkommen även om du inte har möjlighet att delta i Uppsala pride. Det kommer finnas fika, brädspel och trevligt folk att umgås med oberoende.
Praktiskt:
Du behöver inte vara medlem i RFSL för att delta.
Vi träffas i fikarummet utanför RFSLs kontor som ligger på Ljusbärargatan 2 i uppsala, (tredje våningen och till VÄNSTER när du gått in genom glasdörrarna till Studiefrämjandet.
Det är drop in mellan 12 och 16. Kom när du vill. Var med så länge du vill. Om du kommer innan 12.00 och glasdörrarna är upplåsta är det okej att gå in. Vi börjar dock kl 12 och kommer inte ha kaffe och kakor redo innan dess.
Det finns hiss och handikappanpassad toalett.
Våra event ska vara nötfria. Ta ej med nötter eller jordnötter.
Våra träffar är inte hbtqai+ separatistiska men skall vara en trygg miljö och vi förväntar oss att alla som deltar stödjer hbtqai+rättigheter fullt ut.

We are starting the fall semester by getting excited for Uppsala Pride which falls on September 20th. Among other things, we plan to arrange a table during the meeting where people can make signs and banners for the parade. We also planned to finish our art/craft project “The comfort blanket project/Tröstfilt projektet” so that it can be exhibited during Pride. PLEASE NOTE that you are very welcome even if you are not able to participate in Uppsala Pride. There will be snacks, board games and nice people to hang out with regardless.
Welcome to the last meeting of the semester!
The semester will have a magical ending because the theme this time is ”magic!” We talk about magic systems in games, movies, literature and history but are also given the opportunity to talk about how magic looks in our world and time, and maybe play some magic the gathering, you choose. As always, there will be snacks, tea and coffee available.
Practical info:
You do not have to be a member of RFSL to participate in Queer & Nerdy events.
We meet in the coffee room outside RFSL's office, which is located on Ljusbärargatan 2 in Uppsala, (third floor and to the LEFT when you enter through the glass doors to Studiefrämjandet.)
Drop-in is between 12 and 4 p.m. Stay for as long as you want. If you arrive before 12.00 and the glass doors are unlocked is it ok to go inside. However, we start at 12 and will not have coffee and cookies ready before then.
Our premises are wheelchair accessible and we have a toilet with disability access.
Our events must be nut-free. Do not bring nuts or peanuts.
Our meetings are not LGBTQ+ separatist but should be a safe environment and we expect everyone who attends to fully support LGBTQ+ rights.
