Eat More Salad Workshop

This March, Level Up is offering two in-person Eat More Salad Workshops on:

• Tuesday, March 11
• Tuesday, March 25

These interactive workshops provide a hands-on opportunity to learn how to prepare healthy, delicious meals, build confidence in the kitchen, and feel inspired to take control of your nutrition.

Participants will take part in a hands-on salad prep initiative, featuring:

• Knife skills instruction and safe food handling techniques
• Training on how to make salad dressings from scratch
• Salad prep and storage best practices
• ServSafe-aligned food safety tips
• An educational presentation on how to read a food label

Each participant will prepare three fresh salads to take home. Proteins will be provided already cooked and ready to add. No cooking will take place on-site.

Workshops are delivered by Food on the Stove staff members, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides tools and resources to help first responders live healthier.
