To address suicide, long-term mental health issues, chronic pain, addiction, PTSD, and community suffering, BIYOME offers this 50-hour certificate in Psychedelic Integration Therapy for AHPRA-registered health professionals.
Psychedelic-assisted therapy—now legally available in Australia under strict controls—involves the supervised use of cannabis, ketamine, psilocybin, or MDMA by trained psychiatrists or physicians. Since July 2021, authorised psychiatrists can prescribe psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression and MDMA for PTSD within controlled medical settings.
Globally, research shows these therapies can help with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction by fostering deep insight and behavioural change. Yet, many clients need ongoing support to integrate their experiences into daily life without relying on substances.
This course bridges that gap—combining traditional wisdom, modern research, and practical skills for integration. You’ll learn to guide clients using yoga, meditation, mindfulness, creative therapies, embodiment, and deep listening to sustain expanded states of consciousness described in Yoga and Buddhist traditions.

History and cultural context of psychedelic medicine in Vedic, shamanic, and indigenous traditions.
The link between psychedelics, samadhi, and “ego dissolution.”
Evidence-based integration practices for mental health and trauma recovery.
Ethical considerations, safety protocols, and clinical boundaries.
Current research and future directions in psychedelic therapy.
Supporting altered states of consciousness with non-drug-based methods.
