The 8th Annual "Polo, Puffs and Cuffs Fashion Tailgate Experience"

Strut your stuff and show off your most stylish outfits while enjoying the thrilling sport of Polo. This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow fashion enthusiasts, enjoy your favorite cigar, indulge in delicious bites and refreshing drink, and learn about and experience the "Sport of Kings"!

Now, this is also a tailgate, so similar to going to see your favorite football team you'll want to bring a folding table and chairs, and my suggestions to you to bring for your food and drink would be finger sandwiches, charcuterie and the like, and adult beverages of your choice. You should also consider bringing other things for a small tailgate setup, like a small cooler, necessary accessories, etc.....as much or as little as you'd like. Just so you know, my canopies have rugs and chandeliers!!

During halftime, we'll participate in the time honored Polo tradition of the "Divot Stomp" (watch out for the warm ones, lol), and the "Champagne "toast.

When the matches and partying are over, those who care to can take a picturesque ride down into classic New Hope. Have your phone cameras at hand to take advantage of the beautiful changing Fall scenery. Once there, we can re-up on some smokes at the "Taste of Cuba" smoke shop, and/or cap off the day with drinks at one of the great riverfront spots in town.

The Tinicum Park Polo Club is hosting their own event on the same day, which they call "Hat Day", so Ladies, take note!! We'll have our own Best Hat competition for the Ladies and the winner will receive a Wine Basket with wines from the nearby Sandcastle Winery.

I'm very excited to announce a first for the event. We'll have representatives from Stixx Cigar Lounge and Pops McCann Whiskey, purveyors of fine Cigars and Whiskeys in Pottstown, joining us to add to the enjoyment of the day.

We ask that if you choose to smoke, please let it be cigars or vapes only.You may invite or bring as many friends or guests as you'd like; just like with anything else, the more the MERRIER! It's only $20 per car (not per person) to enter the venue. This is charged by the Tinicum Park Polo Club for admission to the Polo matches. With that you'll receive admission for everyone in the car, and a program for the day. We'll park together in the grove of shade trees at the far end of the field, just make sure to look for the Ping Pong table and the Photo Backdrop.

It is not mandatory to have a ticket for OUR get-together, you can just show up. However, it is set up on Eventbrite as a means of helping me keep track of attendance, so please RSVP on it.

Just for clarity, this is a friendly get-together NOT associated with, sponsored by or organized by the Tinicum Park Polo Club itself. They are NOT attached to in any way, nor are they a requirement, for attending "Polo, Puffs and Cuffs", or (other than the admission charge, of course) vice versa.

In order to set up and have time to be able to enjoy the match, I would suggest arriving before, or as close to, 12 Noon as possible. The matches begin promptly at 2pm.
