MUSICMAN 5K REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
The 2025 Schoener MusicMan 5K Walk/ 1 Mile Spirit Walk and Inflatable Fun Run returns on May 17th!
Look for the tent on Arlington Field behind the Arlington Mansion (Toppitzer Funeral Home)! We will kick off the day's festivities at 8:15 am! As always -- look for special guests during our pre-race festivities!
Families are encouraged to complete the 5K or the 1 Mile Spirit Walk together and then... we have SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE as we celebrate our 15th year of keeping Brad Schoener's wishes alive for Upper Darby children.
As always - be ready to hear LIVE MUSIC along the 5K route and we didn't forget the FOOD TRUCKS! We've got breakfast & lunch items for hungry spectators!

This is a one loop run course, (and one mile walk) in beautiful Arlington Cemetery, the resting place of Upper Darby’s beloved band director, Brad Schoener. All proceeds from this event provide lesson scholarships, instruments, and support for young UDSD musicians and the Schoener MusicMan Academy!
Participation in this event has grown steadily over the last 15 years. We encourage everyone to register EARLY to guarantee your slot as we may sell out by race day!
In addition to providing run and walk participants with swag bags and race shirts, The MusicMan 5K is known for its unique finisher medals - actual working mini-harmonicas! Age Group awards are given (full size harmonicas) and Overall Male/Female race winners receive gold plated harmonicas! It's a very musical finish!
FREE Parking available at Drexel Hill Middle School and the Kindergarten Center. Walk to State Road entrance of the Arlington Cemetery.
