Join Sarah from Kaleidoscope PA for a three-part art journaling series designed to explore creativity, emotion, and mindfulness through mixed media.
Session one focuses on Wandering. Using watercolors and acrylics, students will let their minds and paintbrushes wander. In this session, we’ll explore the idea of “wandering” through intuitive mark-making and playful experimentation using watercolor, acrylics, and layering techniques. You’ll create a page that reflects movement, flow, and personal expression.
This series offers both beginning and seasoned artists a welcoming space to experiment, reflect, and connect. Art journaling combines words, images, and various art techniques to help you tell your story on the page—layer by layer.
Each class will focus on a specific theme and will introduce a new technique to encourage participants to start an art journaling practice.
A mixed media art journal will be provided to new participants, or feel free to bring your own art journal.
Participants do not have to sign up for all sessions; they can pick and choose which sessions they would like to attend based on interest and availability.
