We are excited to once again host the Farmer’s Day 5k, 10k and 1 mile Fun Walk to kick off the Saturday Farmer’s Day festivities in beautiful Union, WV. This year’s Fred Walker Memorial Fund Farmer’s Day 5K will be dedicated to a special cause. ❤️We’re honored to announce that all race registration proceeds will be donated to the family of Chris Lowe.❤️
Our own family has been deeply touched by the power of organ donation, and we understand just how life-changing it can be. As the Lowe family navigates their own journey, we want to stand with them and help provide support during this critical time.
The race includes a 5K, a one-mile fun walk, and a 10K for the avid runners—so we hope there’s something for everyone. Entry is $20 for the One-Mile Fun Walk and $30 for the 5K or 10K, with all race registration fees benefiting the Lowe family.
The more participants we have, the more we can give—so grab a friend and join us for a great cause!
On race day, we’ll also have information available about organ donation and a way for the community to contribute directly to the Lowe family. We are again using a timing company with online registration available, so be sure to follow this page to learn all the details. T-shirts for the first 100 to register so be sure to register early!
