Union City's 12th Annual Pinktober 5k Color Run

Thanks to our community's incredible enthusiasm and support, this vibrant, fun-filled event will once again help raise awareness and support for breast cancer research and those affected by it.

Whether you're walking, running, or just there for the fun, join us as we come together in a burst of color to make a difference. As the fastest-growing City in Georgia and the 4th fastest-growing suburb in the Nation, we are showing our collective strength in the fight against breast cancer!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 11, when the streets of Union City will come alive with a burst of color and energy. The starting line for the color run will be at 5047 Union Street, Union City, GA 30291, and the race officially kicks off at 9:00 a.m.

“Through events like our Breast Cancer 5K Color Run, we unite to honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and stand united in the fight for a cure. The Council and I are committed to raising awareness and supporting those impacted by this disease," stated Mayor Vince R. Williams. The Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness 5K has been a beacon of hope in our community for the past eleven years. It is a testament to the strength and unity of Union City as we Reclaim, Renew, and Reimagine community connection.

The Pinktober Breast Cancer Awareness 5K will become a mesmerizing Color Run. Participants will be "splashed" in a vibrant array of hues, symbolizing the many shades of courage and strength displayed by those battling breast cancer. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun-filled day with friends and family, the Pinktober 5K Color Run is an event for everyone to enjoy. It's a unique blend of fitness, camaraderie, and, most importantly, spreading hope
