For the first time ever we’ll tour the one division that has eluded us – the northern section of the Nashville Division known as “The Windy”!
This will be an activity-filled reunion for everyone involved! Be sure to mark your calendars for May 16-18, make your hotel reservations ASAP, and contact us to register.

• Registration & Check-In: Begins at 3:00pm on May 16th
• NCPS Board and Members Meeting: May 16th beginning at 3:30
• Friday dinner
• Touring “The Windy” – Saturday May 17th
o Union City – GM&O/NC&StL Union Station and Union City Terminal Short Line Railroad Headquarters
o Dresden – Locations of railroad related structures (president Terry Coats’ hometown)
o Martin – the interchange of the NC&StL and Illinois Central
o South Fulton – Tracing the tracks of the Dixie Flyer transfer from the IC to the NC&StL
o Twin Cities Railroad Museum in Fulton, featuring a locomotive simulator, various displays, and a model railroad of the three railroads that served Obion County
o Matson Switch Station in Union City, built in 1915
o Three hours (or so) at Discovery Park of America, a 100,000-square-foot museum and 50-acre heritage park boasting a range of attractions, including dinosaurs, antique cars and planes, military equipment, a reconstructed village, and a full-sized passenger train
o Lunch on your own at the Discovery Park restaurant
• Paducah, KY – Those spouses and companions not touring will have the opportunity to visit the Quilt Museum in Paducah, stroll along the river walk, enjoy lunch, and shop in Paducah (quilt museum included in registration)
• Saturday dinner
• Sunday departures
Memorabilia & Models:
While we do not have space for a huge display, feel free to bring one or two items that you are particularly proud of, especially maps, photos, profile sheets or anything else specific to “The Windy” (Nashville Subdivision).
