Sourdough Bread Making Workshop with Reza's Breadery

The Ukiah Branch Library invites the community to join us for a workshop series that will bring local homesteaders to the library to share their knowledge in four semimonthly hands-on workshops. We will explore topics on herbal tea blending, sourdough bread making, mushroom growing, and beekeeping basics.
Join us for the second workshop in our series, Sourdough Bread Making, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. The session will be led by Reza of Reza’s Breadery, who will guide participants through the essentials of sourdough baking — including how to create and maintain a sourdough starter, and how to bake delicious, wholesome sourdough bread at home.
These workshops are free to the public, and reservations are required. Call 707-463-4490 to reserve your spot. This program is for participants 12 years and up. All materials will be provided. This event is sponsored by the Ukiah Valley Friends of the Library and Mendocino County Library.

la Biblioteca Sucursal de Ukiah invita a la comunidad a reunirse con agricultores locales en la biblioteca para una serie de cuatro talleres prácticos donde compartirán sus conocimientos agrícolas. Exploraremos temas como la preparación de infusiones, la elaboración de pan de masa madre, el cultivo de hongos y los fundamentos de la apicultura.
Acompáñenos en el segundo taller de esta serie, "Hacer pan con masa madre", el sábado el 13 de diciembre de 2025, de las 3-5:30 p.m., dirigido por Reza, de Reza's Breadery. Los participantes aprenderán los fundamentos de la elaboración de masa madre, cómo conservarla y cómo preparar un delicioso y saludable pan de masa madre en casa.
Estos talleres son gratuitos y se requieren reservación. Llame al 707-463-4490 para reservar su espacio. Este programa es para participantes mayores de 12 años.
