A Love Letter from Balinese Youth
Honoring Our Traditional Customs with BASAbali Wiki
📅 Date: Monday, 4th August
🕖 Time: 7:00 PM
📍 Venue: Usada Bali, Jl. Sugriwa No.4, Ubud, Bali
Love Letter from the Youth of Bali is a message from young Balinese to visitors, encouraging respectful dress as a reflection of care and cultural harmony. In Bali, clothing holds meaning. It shows respect for safety, sacred spaces, and shared public life.
This message was developed through the Wikithon Partisipasi Publik Wisya Wisata and refined in a Policy Dialogue by BASAbali Wiki, where youth and stakeholders shaped real actions. The idea of this love letter was born from that process.
The event invites reflection on the deeper meaning of dress in Balinese culture and opens space for dialogue between locals and visitors grounded in mutual respect.
