AIRIP will hold its 8th Annual Global Intelligence Forum - Turbulence Ahead: Leading Through Uncertainty - Tuesday, June 10 - Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Capital One Center in McLean, Virginia - just outside of Washington, DC, and easily accessible by car directly off I-495 (Capitol Beltway) and just steps away from the Silver Line's McLean Metro Station.
Frequent and sudden crises are demanding more personal and professional leadership than ever before. The 2025 Global Intelligence Forum will explore hard questions about how intelligence professionals maintain professionalism, practice robust tradecraft, and communicate effectively in polarized environments where "ground truth" is increasingly disputed.
Leadership is not constrained to specific positions or portfolios, and all levels of intelligence professionals – from those starting their careers to seasoned managers – will find valuable content and connections at this year’s Global Intelligence Forum. We are excited to be planning sessions, particularly on but not limited to the following themes:
~Personal and Professional Leadership: What does effective leadership look like in our modern operating environment? How can intel professionals develop leadership skills? How do you lead a team through crisis and/or lead by influence?
~Maintaining Robust Tradecraft: What are the most important intel tradecraft principles? How can we ensure good practices in a dynamic and volatile environment? How can technology help us with this?
~Delivering the Hard Messages: How can we communicate unpopular insights so we are heard? What are the best practices in deciding which battles to fight and how?
We hope to see you in Virginia this Summer!
