About David A. Fischette:
Known for his passion and over 39 years at the helm of the award-winning Go West Creative, David Fischette has established himself as a visionary in the live production, broadcast, media and entertainment industries.
At GWC, Fischette worked with major brands around the world to help them communicate their message. From large scale corporate broadcasts to live experiential activations, the goal was always the same. Connect the experience and the emotion to the brand. Fischette has executive-produced projects globally for numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as multiple film and television projects, including the Emmy Award-Winning Television Series “My Generation”, starring Leeza Gibbons, the 2024 Boot Barn Fashion Show (Hulu & Roku), the independent comedy film “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” and he directed and produced the New York City Film Festival Award-Winning Thriller “Gods of Accident.”
As the live event industry shifted due to Covid-19, David led his production team into a full pivot to Corporate Broadcasting, including the creation of The Studio Collection at Go West, a facility in the heart of downtown Nashville with spaces for virtual meetings, music video and live events. He also directed his creative team to lean hard into Agency Services, Digital Content Production and of course, Spoken Cinema® (www.spokencinema.com).
David and Go West Creative have won numerous prestigious industry awards including Telly Awards, Pixie, Davy and Hermes Awards, and the coveted Gala Award for his “Spoken Cinema®”. GWC has been named to the global Top 50 Events Companies list by Special Event Magazine’s consistently over the past decade, as well as Event Marketer magazine’s Top 100 It List for Event Agencies.
David is the host of the True West Podcast (www.truewestpodcast.com) and founder of the True West Foundation (www.truewestfoundation.com). In early 2024, Fischette resigned his position as CEO and Chief Creative at Go West Creative, still retaining his ownership of the company he founded at 20 years old in 1984. He has since opened a new boutique agency, Cre8td by David Fischette (www.cre8tdby.com). His focus is producing projects that impact lives in a positive way. IN November of 2024 David Executive Produced the made-for-television special, Boot Barn 2024 Fashion Show that aired on Hulu and Roku.
David’s passion extends to social issues, especially those involving women’s rights and racial equality. He has served on the boards of the YWCA Board of Directors, Pepperdine University Board of Visitors, The SEARCH Foundation Board of Directors and several privately held corporate boards including Westlake Davvar Corporation, Int’l (parent company to Go West Creative). Fischette has also been a featured speaker at the United Nations, speaking on Gender Equity.
