When 'self-care’ feels 'selfish with Dr. Stan Ward

Dr. Stanley J. Ward is a leadership coach, trainer, and facilitatort with over ten years of experience coaching aerospace, automotive sales, defense, and manufacturing leaders. Notable clients have included Airbus (EADS) and NASA.

Dr. Ward discovered the importance of stress management after battling a 2-year mystery illness that resulted in multiple hospital stays and emergency room visits. He has now combined what he learned from his treatment time at the Mayo Clinic and other best practices to help leaders manage stress, resolve conflict, avoid burnout, and create sustainable positive changes.

His published work includes How to Beat Burnout for Yourself, Your Family, and Your Team and Ethical Leadership: A Primer. He has also presented at the International Leadership Association's global conferences and events associated with the International Coaching Federation.

Dr. Ward's qualifications are both academic and practical. In addition to his PhD in leadership studies, he is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation and a high-energy workshop leader.
