About the event

Tyler X WALKR Pedestrian Safety Event

This initiative kicks off National Pedestrian Safety Month and is designed to remind both drivers and pedestrians to stay alert and watch out for each other. As part of TxDOT’s statewide "Pedestrian Safety" initiative during this campaign, we will be traveling across all 25 TxDOT districts, activating in the cities with the highest rates of pedestrian-related traffic crashes.
We will be engaging with the community and handing out branded slap band giveaways to drivers and pedestrians.
