Sea Turtle Release - Wave Goodbye to Westie!

The moment everyones been waiting for...drumroll please..🥁🥁🥁 Westie's getting evicted! 😆🤩

After 3 years of educating over 300,000 students and visitors, our Marine Debris Ambassador Westie the Loggerhead Sea Turtle is set to embark on her adventure into the Atlantic Ocean. Join us in wishing Westie safe travels on her journey into the sea on Saturday, Sept. 6!

We're crying, she's crying (literally, sea turtles are always crying) everyone's crying! However, Westie will have a tracker attached to her shell thanks to @savesealifewithliddy, so you can keep up with her whereabouts through the TIMSC website.

The release will happen promptly at 9am so get there early for a good spot. No registration required, signs encouraged 🐢🌊👋🏽

P.S. The science center will open at 10am that day.
