Join the Gerber Scout Reservation Merit Badge Counselors for a fun weekend of Geocaching.
"Geo" means "earth" and "cache" means "hiding place". Geocaching describes a hiding place you can find using a GPS unit. Scouts and adults will will refresh their skills while learning some new ones as they work on the Geocaching Merit Badge. Participants will work together to find various geocaches throughout the camp.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own GPS device if they have one, but extras will be available.
