CSI Office on Aging 2025 Caregiver Conference – News Release
The CSI Office on Aging is excited to announce our 1st annual Caregiver Conference, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, check in at 8:30am, at the College of Southern Idaho Fine Arts Theater. This will include the lobby where vendors can present their services.
Our focus for this conference is to help Caregivers put the pieces of the caregiving puzzle together with various speakers discussing the differences in levels of skilled care and self-care, help them to be aware of options available and where to find resources they need. Our speakers include Keynote Sheila Weaver, LCSW, AADC with Idaho Caregiver Alliance, Dennis Voorhees, an attorney specializing in elder law, St Luke’s Palliative Care, Marilyn Shiroma and Pam Pehrson with the Ombudsman Program, and Jason Atkinson from AgeWell Connections.
Caregivers are our Heroes; this event is especially for them and is free of charge to attend. We are providing a complimentary lunch for attendees. Registration is required simply by calling the CSI Office on Aging at 208-736-2122.
