In addition to their jazz roots, Bezique adds a unique twist by incorporating Maurice el-Medioni , the Algerian chaabi pianist, into their set—introducing a rare North African flavour that infuses the trio’s sound with a cosmopolitan edge. This distinctive blend of jazz with occasional touches of North African rhythms creates a sound unlike anything else on the UK acoustic jazz scene.
