Saturday, February 7th • 12:00–2:00 PM
Ages: 5–12 • $39 per child
Get ready for the SWEETEST STEM class ever! Kids will become real Chocolate Scientists as they investigate how chocolate responds to heat, cooling rates, viscosity changes, crystallization, and seizing during hands-on experiments.
In this workshop, kids will:
🍫 Create their own candy bar using authentic candy molds
🎨 Design a custom candy wrapper with branding + creativity
🔥 Watch chocolate undergo seizing (when a few drops of water cause the sugar to clump)
🧪 Learn how chocolatiers stabilize and rescue seized chocolate
🌡️ Compare melting behaviors of milk, dark, white, and baking chocolate
🥨 Dip pretzels + marshmallows and observe changes in viscosity
✨ Add toppings while discussing crystal formation and cooling
🍬 Take home a bag of hand-crafted chocolate creations
🎓 Receive an official Chocolate Scientist Certificate
