**Liability Disclaimer for Tails on the Trails**

By participating in Tails on the Trails, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk: Trail riding involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, unpredictable terrain, weather conditions, and interactions with other riders. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with this activity.

2. Release of Liability: The event organizers, hosts, landowners, volunteers, sponsors, and any affiliated entities (collectively referred to as “the Released Parties”) are not responsible for any injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities that may occur before, during, or after the event. Participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, demands, or legal actions arising from participation in this event.

3. Personal Responsibility: Each participant is responsible for their own safety and the condition of their equipment. Riders must exercise caution, follow trail rules, and adhere to all local laws and regulations. Participants are strongly encouraged to wear appropriate safety gear and take necessary precautions.

4. Loss, Theft, and Property Recovery: The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property at any time during the event. Participants are solely responsible for securing their belongings. Additionally, the Released Parties are not obligated to assist in the search for lost items or to reopen the property after closure for retrieval of personal belongings.

5. Medical Treatment Authorization: In the event of an emergency, participants authorize event organizers to seek medical assistance on their behalf. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.
