About the event

Native November Speaker Series - Understanding the Dawes Roll
Please join us at the Tvshkahomma Capitol Museum as we commence our "Native November Speaker Series.”

Choctaw Nation Genealogy Researcher, Jessica Roddy, will host a discussion entitled, The Dawes Roll: What it Was, Why it Was Created, and How it Still Affects Tribal Membership Today. The presentation connects history to the present and shows why the Dawes Rolls are still relevant, today.
