The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Atwood-Hammond Public Library, and the Moultrie-Douglas 4-H program are proud to announce a collaborative educational event designed to spark creativity and introduce the public to the exciting world of 3D printing.
Join us for a free 3D Printing Workshop on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 4:30 PM at the Atwood-Hammond Public Library, located at 123 Main St., Atwood, IL 61913.
This hands-on workshop is open to the public and geared toward participants ages 10 and up — adults are also welcome!
The workshop will be led by Douglas County Deputy and 3D printing expert Adam Brazzell, who will guide attendees through the basics of 3D printing and essential safety practices.
Whether you're a curious beginner or simply interested in learning more about this innovative technology, this session offers a fun and informative introduction to the tools and techniques behind 3D creation.
This event reflects a shared commitment by the partnering organizations to promote STEM education and community engagement. It’s a great opportunity for families, students, educators, and hobbyists to explore a new skill in a supportive and interactive environment.
