An Evening with Elizabeth: Bees in June
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5:30–7:00 PM, join us at Ernest & Hadley Booksellers for a warm, book-filled evening with Nashville native and novelist Elizabeth as she shares her newest work, Bees in June.
Elizabeth’s writing journey began in middle school, when her English teacher (celebrated author Lee Smith) told her to, “always keep writing.” She’s been doing just that ever since. With a love for literature shaped by her studies in New York and England (and unforgettable travels, including a chance encounter with Princess Diana’s wedding dress in a Welsh museum!), Elizabeth brings a lifetime of rich experiences to her stories.
After two decades in nonprofit special education, she retired to write full-time, and now, with her second novel, she invites readers into a world buzzing with heart, history, and humanity.
