The Alabama Museum of Natural History invites visitors to our "All Day Holiday Open House" on December 12, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.. Admission to the Museum will be free all day and we will be making ornaments, providing a Scavenger Hunt, and giving away buttons and bookmarks to take home!
This is a come-and-go event.
Light refreshments will be served while supplies last.

The Alabama Museum of Natural History is located inside Smith Hall on The University of Alabama campus. The street address is 427 Sixth Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487.
Parking:
There are five dedicated visitor parking spaces in the lot behind Smith Hall that can be accessed from Hackberry Drive. In addition, there is a parking deck located at Campus Drive and Hackberry Lane. The cost for visitor parking in the deck is $1 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour. To reach the parking deck, take Hackberry Lane to Campus Drive East, and the parking deck is on the right.
Parking ($5) is available in the North Ten Hoor and Student Center parking decks.
