Jihuu, se on kesä taas ja Rally!
Tervetuloa mukaamme vuoden 2025 WCS Rallyyn. Joka vuosi West Coast Swing -tanssijat ympäri maailman opettelevat saman koreografian ja esittävät sen samana päivänä ympäri maailmaa flashmob-tyylisesti. Koreografian opettelu on hauskaa, tuo lisämaustetta omaan tanssiin ja sopii ihanasti loppukesän tekemiseksi ennen viikkotuntien alkua! Viime vuonna esitimme Rallyn muun muassa kauppakeskus Hansassa.

Mukana pysyy hyvin, jos West Coast Swingin alkeet on käyty läpi. Jos pääset vain toisena päivänä viikossa, ei haittaa. Opetamme osioita vuoroviikoin eri päivinä, joten opit koreografian vaikka pääsisit vain torstaisin. Muutama välistä jäävä kerta ei myöskään haittaa, vaan mukaan pääsee hyppäämään helposti.
Esiintyminen tapahtuu syyskuun ensimmäisenä viikonloppuna, joko la 6.9 tai su 7.9. Esiintymiset (n. 3 kpl) ajoittuvat päivän ja iltapäivän aikoihin, joiden jälkeen voidaan mennä kahville tai syömään yhdessä.
Rallytreeneihin ei tarvitse ilmoittautua ja osallistuminen esityksiin on vapaaehtoista. Treenien jälkeisiin vapaaharjoituksiin saa osallistua, vaikka ei tulisikaan rallytreeneihin.

Yay, it's summer again and we Rally!
Welcome to the 2025 WCS Rally. Every year, West Coast Swing dancers from all over the world learn the same choreography and perform it on the same day around the world in a flashmob style. Learning a complete choreography is not just fun, but it adds extra spice to your own swing dancing. The rally training is also a great way to get in some dancing at the end of the summer before the start of weekly classes! Last year, we performed the Rally for example in shopping center Hansa.

If you have already learnt the basics of West Coast Swing, you can easily join the rally. Attending one day a week is completely fine. We teach different sections of the rally on different days in alternating weeks, so you will learn the choreography even if you can only come on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Missing a few practice times is no trouble, you can easily jump in on later sessions.
The performance will take place on the first weekend of September, either Sat 6.9 or Sun 7.9. The performances (about 3 in total) will be scheduled during the day and afternoon, after which we have usually gone to get a coffee or eat together.
There is no need to register for rally training and participation in the performances is voluntary. You can also only participate in the open practice after training, even if you do not come to the rally training.
Attendance fees to cover the space reservation:
Summer package, includes: 10 x Rally training + 5 x open practice / €25
Summer package, students and unemployed / €20
One-time fees:
Rally training only / €3
Rally training and open practice / €4
Payment can be made with Mobilepay or in cash.
Please note that participants in the training are not insured by TSS.
