Join this fun and interactive workshop to learn about the incredible diversity of herbs, their history and role in international cuisine, and practical ways to handle and incorporate them into everyday meals! Grocery stores offer a wide variety of aromatic herbs, yet we often stick to the ones we already know, missing out on a world of flavors waiting to be explored!
After the workshop, you will:
- be able to recognize several (new) herbs just by their smell!
- know how herbs have been used throughout times and in different cultures
- know how to handle herbs and use them in different dishes
- have your very own handmade pesto! Bring along a glass jar to take your pesto home and delight your family and friends!
The workshop is held in English but the instructor can answer your questions in Finnish, and slides will have text in both English and Finnish.
You are welcome to stay longer and enjoy Mother's Day cake buffet at the cafe after 12.00!
